Getxophoto International Image Festival takes place in Getxo, the Basque Country, close to Bilbao (15km). It is conceived to walk around the city and delve into the exhibitions in a few hours. Most of them are open-air installations and can be visited at any time.

All the exhibitions can be seen, at a comfortable pace, in about 4 or 5 hours. Take a look at the suggested routes on the map and at the Visit Programme.

We advise you to come by public transport, by bike or on foot. Everything is within walking distance. In this section you will find more information about how to get to Getxo.

We recommend that you check the opening times of the exhibitions in the halls in advance.

The Info Point is only 150 metres from Algorta metro station inside the Market.

Bring your water bottle and refill it at the water fountains marked on the Festival map.

If you generate waste during your visit, don’t forget to separate it correctly in the respective containers around the city.

You don’t need to print your tickets. Bring them in digital format on your mobile phone and save paper.
